Night Blooming Cereus Bee Interior
The night blooming cereus cactus manifests the brevity of beauty. Her blooms appear one night per year and vanish during the next day.
This one is over 40 years old. Her blossoms have a protruding center found only on older plants.
The appearance of her blossoms generates excitement and draws bees to their vital tasks. This pollen coated fellow appeared as I was photographing this especially lovely bloom.
